Meet Maureena Spadaro
Therapeutic Harpist and acupressurist.

Maureena has played music in various settings. Maureena Spadaro is a member of the International Harp Therapy Program, San Diego, California and a lifetime charter member of SAMA Sound and Music Alliance.  She currently uses the harp,
and sound tuners for creating healing energy.

Scientific studies are extensively being done in music therapy. The harp, due to the resonance of its strings, includes a range of pitch and tonal quality which can create subtle change to those receiving the musical tones. A skilled therapeutic harpist is trained for various situations. Harp therapy can reduce pain, regulate blood pressure and respiration, reduce stress symptoms, and boost immunity levels. Playing harp at bedside is becoming commonplace; creating peaceful settings for those present.

Harp music was provided for a woman suffering with AIDS,
"It took my pain and headache away", she said restfully.

A woman receiving cancer treatments, after having harp music played in her home, said, “You’ll never know how much this means to me, I will always remember the harp music, thank you.”

Maureena is the founder of HARPS of MERCY® serving Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware regions.  She is available for presentations.
